Across millennia and cultures, our ancestors refined these abilities, passing forward a legacy of ingenuity, discipline, and human potential. Dynamic Archery Martial Arts International (DAMAI) is a framework dedicated to honouring these ancient skills and carrying them forward in the modern world.

Through progressive training, standardized measures of performance, martial arts grading, and international competition, DAMAI provides a pathway to explore and develop these abilities—from the very first arrow to extraordinary levels of mastery.

At its heart is a simple conviction: the pursuit of extraordinary skill is also an opportunity to cultivate extraordinary presence. This is the spirit of our motto: Presence Under Pressure.

DAMAI proudly acknowledges Master Kassai Lajos, the father of modern equestrian archery and founder of the World Federation of Equestrian Archery, whose work directly inspired DAMAI's foundations. The nine-round structure of the Dynamic Archery Speed Trials, the 90 cm three-zone target, and the DAMAI grading system draw upon the methods and traditions established by Master Kassai through the Original Kassai System.  Building upon these proven foundations, DAMAI provides a dedicated international home for the continued evolution of Dynamic Archery as a modern martial art, sport, and pathway for personal achievement.
